Ingredients
2 pounds ground turkey (mix of white and dark meat; no leaner than 94% lean)
1/4 cup plain bread crumbs
2 whole eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt or 3/4 teaspoon table salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup finely minced parsley
3 cloves of garlic, finely minced or microplaned
1/2 small red onion, finely minced
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
For cooking: 4 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together by hand.
- Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a large frying pan.
- Make patties by scooping 1/2 cup ground meat mixture and forming into a patty.
- Fry patties in batches until brown on one side, about 4-5 minutes. Flip and cook until 165 degrees Fahrenheit, about 4-5 more minutes.
- Repeat until all of the patties are finished. Makes 10 patties.
