Ingredients
8 ounces (227g) cream cheese, slightly softened
1/2 cup (113g) salted butter, softened
3 1/2 cups (420g) powdered sugar
1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
Directions
- Using a paddle attachment, beat the cream cheese in the bowl of a stand mixer until no lumps remain. Add the butter and beat on medium until well mixed and no lumps remain.
- With the mixer on low, add the powdered sugar slowly, until it is all incorporated. Mix in the vanilla extract. Scrape the sides down. Turn the mixer to high and mix for 2 minutes, stopping once to scrape the sides down.
- This should be refrigerated if not using immediately.
