Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe Haas avocados

  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced

  • 2 tablespoons sweet onion, minced

  • 1/2-1 jalapeno pepper, finely minced

  • 1/4 cup cilantro leaves, chopped

  • 2-4 tablespoons (30-60 ml) fresh-squeezed lime juice

  • salt and black pepper, to taste

Directions

  • Mash the avocados to desired texture. You can use a fork, a potato masher, or a food processor, depending on how smooth you prefer your guacamole.
  • Add all remaining ingredients, and mix to combine well.
  • If not serving right away, place plastic wrap directly on the surface of guacamole and refrigerate.
