Chocolate Ganache

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (225g) dark chocolate, finely chopped

  • 8 fluid ounces (240ml) cream

Directions

  • Place the chopped chocolate in a heat-safe bowl
  • Microwave the cream until it just starts to boil, about 45 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Pour the boiling cream evenly over the chocolate. Let rest 5 minutes.
  • Stir to combine. The final product should be shiny and smooth.
  • Refrigerate any leftovers
  • To reheat, either microwave at 40% power in 20 second intervals or place in a bowl over simmering water (do not let the bowl touch the water).
