Puffy Oven Pancake

Ingredients

  • 4 Tablespoons salted butter

  • 6 eggs, beaten

  • 1 cup milk

  • 160 g (1 cup) all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400ยบ F.
  • Place butter in a 9″ x 13″ pan and put the pan in the oven to melt the butter.
  • While the butter is melting, beat the eggs for 2 minutes.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and mix until the batter is smooth (no lumps).
  • Pour the batter over the melted butter.
  • Put in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
  • The pancake is done when the center is firm and the sides of the pancake have risen well above the rim of the pan.
  • Cut into squares and serve with syrup, powdered sugar, or jam.
